The members of the Parish Council remain the same as the previous year and they attended 8 Parish council meetings through the year. The Annual Return of Accounts for Waddingham Parish council is currently being internally audited.
The grass cutting contact has been awarded to Martyn Snell for the next three years and due to the earlier tendering process he has been able to start the cuts earlier and so the village green is looking as we would like it to. There have been problems with damage caused by chafer grubs and the council is investigating the best way to deal with this.
A survey of the trees that the Parish has responsibility for was carried out and the report is available on the website. All the trees were deemed to be in good condition.
The flood relief channel has been regularly assessed throughout the year. We are aware of a slippage in the bank and we are tendering for quotes to deal with this.
The policies and orders have been reviewed, approved and adopted as required.
There continue to be concerns raised by the public about the Flood Risk designation of areas in the Parish. We are now waiting for the scheduled review of the area by the Environment agency.
The first project paid for by the Constable Ings fund was carried out leading to a beautiful display of daffodils along the beck. We encourage anyone with an idea for a project to improve the environment in the Parish to apply for funding to carry it out. Details for how to apply are on the website.

The council have been supporting the residents of Redbourne road to try to improve the road safety on this road.
