(a) Accounts for payment- resolved to pay
C. Wright, salary and expenses- £534.46

Cassels’s accountant- Internal audit fee- £86.40
The clerk presented the end of year accounting statement prepared according to proper accounting practices. It was resolved to approve the Annual Governance Statement and to approve the accounting statement for the period.
0707/9 Planning applications and decisions: -
PA143154- Planning for change of use of Post Office to 1 dwelling-no comment. PA142645- Application for approval of reserved matters to erect 1 dwelling, Old Chapel Court-granted. PA143052- Application for approval of reserved matters for the erection of 7 dwellings, Land to rear of Marquis of Granby- plans do not show drainage, surface water or sewerage. Parish council to object to the plans PA143218- Planning for Change of use of public house into 1 dwelling- parish council to resubmit objections.
0707/10 Highways matters- Including Redbourne Road, Bank at Brandywharf, Grass verges on Church Corner, Parking close to the junction of Stainton Avenue.
Cllrs L Williams and J Summers have not had a response to their request for additional signage from the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership. The parish council expressed their frustration and disappointment at the ongoing issue and lack of response. Cllr Bunney to bring Redbourne road to the attention of highways during his meeting with them on Friday. The Council reiterated that this is the key highways issue in our area at the moment and a resolution to the problem is needed. Waddingham Parish Council are happy to contribute to the cost of the signage of necessary.

Bank at Brandywharf floods to the west side not the east side.
Cllr White to cut the triangle of grass outside the church when it becomes overgrown.
A car is parking close to the junction at Stainton Avenue which could potentially be dangerous. Resolved to write to the resident concerned.
0707/11 Flood relief scheme and beck cleaning matters- Cllrs P Williams, L Williams and J Summers met with Paul Brookes from Highways to discuss handing over.
Channel is not considered in a suitable condition to pass over to riparian owners- it was faulty when built and is still faulty. P Brookes to instigate a plan to correct. Finding for works has not been decided yet. £1300 still left with council which can be put towards the repair. Increasing precept so council can continue maintenance is not the preferred option for the council. Once the repair has been made it will be in a suitable condition to pass over to riparian owners.
0707/12 To discuss provision of a village play park- Item to remain on the agenda. Land off Joshua way would not be suitable due to safeguarding issues.
0707/13 Correspondence- all emails have been circulated. Correspondence regarding a playpark on the village green noted but not discussed as it arrived following the agenda being published.
0707/14 Parish Council Website- Resolved to contact P Langford regarding upkeep of the parish council website.
0707/15 Councillor Vacancies
There are still 2 vacancies on the parish council. Anyone interested in joining the council should contact the clerk.
0707/16 To discuss chafer grubs on the village green- Cllr Thacker has continues to spread birdseed in an attempt to encourage the birds to feed and eat the grubs. Clerk to contact grass cutter to request an additional cut where the grass is now overgrown.

0707/17 To discuss upkeep of War Memorial- Cllr P Williams has been in touch with the war memorial trust who have confirmed that he is able to clean the memorial and provided instructions of how to do so. Clerk to apply to WLDC for a grant to cover the cost of the materials.
